Humor: Peanuts Banned At Champ Car Events

After receiving a complaint from one Champ Car fan, Champ Car officials have taken the bold initiative to ban Peanuts from all future Champ Car events. In a letter from Mrs. Ernst P. Young of Dayton, Ohio, she stated, “her son’s Peanuts allergy has caused him to get very anxious while watching Champ Car races on TV.”
“We have decided to be proactive on this issue and take steps to protect our fans from the potentially serious Peanuts allergic reactions,” said Steve Johnston, President of the Champ Car World Series. “It also shows we care and listen to what our fans have to say.” Read the rest of this entry »
